Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings to the people of the country on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on Monday, wishing citizens happiness, renewed energy and success in their endeavours.

In his message,PM Modi described the festival as a sacred occasion to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha, revered as the remover of obstacles. He expressed hope that the celebrations would bring fresh enthusiasm and positive energy into people’s lives.

The Prime Minister also prayed that the blessings of Lord Ganesha would help people achieve success in their efforts and enable the nation to continue advancing on the path of development and progress.

Concluding his message with the traditional greeting “Ganpati Bappa Morya”, PM Modi also shared verses from a Sanskrit hymn dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The verses praise the deity as a benevolent protector and as the one who removes obstacles and dispels misfortune.

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with religious devotion and cultural festivities across several parts of India. Devotees mark the occasion with prayers, rituals and the installation of Ganesha idols, seeking blessings for wisdom, prosperity and the removal of obstacles.
