South Delhi Superstarz produced an impressive performance in the Delhi Premier League 2026, defeating New Delhi Tigers by five wickets on Monday night. South Delhi Superstarz successfully chased down the target of 169 runs in the 18th over.

Batting first, New Delhi Tigers posted 168 for nine in their allotted 20 overs. Lakshay Thareja anchored the innings with an impressive 62 off 47 balls. Towards the closing stages, Naman Tiwari scored 10 runs off two deliveries, while Revant Rakyan contributed 17 runs off six balls to help the Tigers reach a competitive total.

For South Delhi Superstarz, Ankit Dabas took two wickets for 16 runs in his four overs. Divansh Rawat was also highly effective, claiming four wickets despite conceding 25 runs in his two overs.

Chasing the target, South Delhi Superstarz made a strong start. Anmol Sharma continued his excellent form by scoring another half-century and providing his team with a solid foundation. He was dismissed in the 16th over, but Ekansh Dobal kept the innings on course at the other end.

Ankit then turned the match decisively in South Delhi Superstarz’s favour in the 18th over, smashing three consecutive sixes off Parth’s bowling. He was eventually dismissed after scoring 18 runs off just five balls. Ekansh remained unbeaten on 38 off 18 deliveries.

South Delhi Superstarz reached the target in the 18th over to register a convincing five-wicket victory over New Delhi Tigers.
