Guwahati, 20 August (HS): Barak Legends defeated Tezpur Titans by six wickets in Match No. 39 of the Imperial Blue Packaged Drinking Water Assam Premier League 2026 at the ACA Stadium, Guwahati, on Thursday.

Chasing a target of 120, Barak Legends overcame an early setback to reach 120 for four in 17 overs. Captain Sibsankar Roy led the successful chase with an unbeaten 55 off 39 balls, including six fours.

Legends were reduced to 8/3 inside the first two overs, but Roy and Yasir Ali steadied the innings with a crucial 96-run fourth-wicket partnership. Yasir contributed 43 off 48 balls before being stumped by Roshan Topno off Abhinav Choudhury. Abhishek Deb remained unbeaten on 10 off seven balls to complete the victory.

Earlier, Tezpur Titans were bowled out for 119 in 19.1 overs. Danish Ahmed top-scored with 31 off 28 balls, while Roshan Topno made 23 and Nihar Deka scored 19.

Abdul Ajij Kuraishi was the pick of the Barak Legends bowlers, claiming 3/18. Shekhar Jyoti Barman and Jacky Ali took one wicket each.
