New Delhi, 17 August (H.S.): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin congratulated and extended his best wishes to the office-bearers appointed to the party’s new national team.

In a message shared on X, Nitin Nabin said the new team, formed through a blend of experience and energy, would give fresh momentum to the organisation under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He expressed confidence that every member, with the spirit of a dedicated party worker, would further strengthen the organisation and take the commitment to nation-building and the resolve of ‘Viksit Bharat’ to new heights.

A total of 13 leaders have been appointed national vice-presidents in the new team, including six women. Former Amethi MP Smriti Irani has been appointed national general secretary.

The party has appointed eight national general secretaries from seven states, with Uttar Pradesh having the highest representation with two leaders. Four women have also been entrusted with the responsibility of national secretaries.

The new team also includes two Muslim leaders.
