New Delhi, 17 August (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated the newly appointed national office-bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and other leaders who have been entrusted with various responsibilities in the party. He expressed confidence that the new team would focus on strengthening the organisation while giving priority to public service.

In a post on social media platform X, Modi congratulated the newly appointed national office-bearers of the BJP. He said the new team brings together organisational experience, energy and strong grassroots connect.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the new team would make its best contribution towards strengthening the party and remaining focused on public service. He extended his best wishes to all the newly appointed office-bearers and leaders.

It may be recalled that BJP president Nitin Nabin announced his new team on Monday. Thirteen leaders, including Vasundhara Raje Scindia and Ram Madhav, have been appointed national vice-presidents, while eight leaders, including Smriti Irani and Harish Dwivedi, have been given the responsibility of national general secretaries. Union Minister Piyush Goyal has been appointed national treasurer.
