New Delhi, 17 August (H.S.): BJP national president Nitin Nabin and the party’s national general secretary (organisation), BL Santosh, will leave for Visakhapatnam this evening to participate in important organisational meetings in Andhra Pradesh. Their visit is being viewed as significant from the perspective of organisational coordination between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

According to information, the Andhra Pradesh BJP Core Committee meeting will be held on August 18, which Nitin Nabin and BL Santosh are scheduled to attend. The meeting is expected to deliberate on the party’s organisational functioning in the state, upcoming programmes and matters related to its political strategy.

This will be followed by the RSS’s three-day All India Coordination Meeting in Visakhapatnam from August 19 to 21. Nitin Nabin and BL Santosh will represent the BJP at the meeting. Senior functionaries of 32 organisations associated with the Sangh Parivar are expected to participate in the coordination meeting.

Nitin Nabin’s participation in the significant RSS meeting assumes particular importance following his appointment as the BJP’s national president. Meanwhile, BL Santosh has for several years played an important role in facilitating organisational coordination between the BJP and the RSS.

During the three-day meeting, participants are expected to deliberate on several issues, including strengthening coordination among various organisations, organisational expansion and ongoing initiatives in the social sector.

The presence of senior BJP leaders at the Andhra Pradesh BJP Core Committee meeting and subsequently at the RSS coordination meeting is also expected to draw attention to the party’s organisational approach and future strategy in the state.
