There should be night landing facility at Prayagraj Airport
Prayagraj, 13 Aug (HS): Prayagraj MP Ujjwal Raman Singh and Phulpur MP Praveen
Patel met Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu in New Delhi
and submitted a letter demanding that Prayagraj is an important mythological
religious city, along with being an important city of the High Court and Uttar
Pradesh, whose population is more than 70 lakhs, a large number of technocrats
and students travel from here to various cities of the country, hence there
should be more flights to major cities like there were during the Maha Kumbh.
The MPs told the Aviation Minister that there should be night landing facility
at Prayagraj Airport so that flights can be taken even at night, which will
provide great relief to the public and will increase the business of Prayagraj.
He said that the infrastructure of Prayagraj Airport is ready but the flights
have been gradually decreasing, now the situation has become such that there
are probably no flights on Saturdays, this is a matter of great misfortune, if
someone has to go somewhere in an emergency then he cannot go, hence there
should be more flights in public interest.
MP representative Vinay Kushwaha said that the efforts made by Phulpur MP
Praveen Patel and Allahabad MP Ujjwal Raman Singh for the progress of Prayagraj
by meeting the Union Civil Aviation Minister Naidu ji is a commendable work and
in today's politics where there is so much jealousy and hatred, these young
MPs, breaking away from party lines, made a unique effort for the development
of Prayagraj region.
