New Delhi, 12 August (H.S.): The Prime Ministers’ Museum and Library (PMML) on Wednesday launched a new integrated portal, bringing together various digital services and websites associated with the institution on a single platform. The portal has been developed as a modern and more accessible digital platform for citizens, researchers and other users.

According to PMML, the new portal integrates websites and digital services that were previously available separately. The initiative aims to reduce the need for users to navigate multiple websites and provide easier access to content, services and archival resources related to the Prime Ministers’ Museum and Library.

The portal features a mobile-friendly design along with accessibility features for citizens. It offers a range of services, including intelligent assistance for user support, smart search and analytics, programme information, ticket management, a download repository, and photo and video galleries.

The new platform also incorporates a dynamic content management system. An AI-powered chatbot is also part of the portal and is expected to be operational soon. The chatbot will assist citizens by providing information and collecting user feedback.

Other features include an automated archiving workflow, intelligent content discovery and a real-time engagement dashboard, aimed at improving access to information and enhancing interaction with users.

According to PMML, the portal has been developed on a modern technological framework and conforms to the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW), Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and security standards prescribed by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In).

The platform also incorporates role-based access controls for different categories of users and a comprehensive audit trail to strengthen security, accountability and administrative oversight.

Launching the portal, PMML Director Ashwini Lohani said the new platform reflects the institution’s commitment to accessible and future-ready digital public services. He said the initiative seeks not only to preserve India’s rich political and cultural heritage but also to make it readily accessible to citizens and researchers across the world.
