Nagaon (Assam), 01 August (HS): Assam Health Minister Ashok Singhal on Saturday reviewed healthcare services and medical education infrastructure during visits to Nagaon Medical College and Hospital, the Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre at Samaguri, and the newly built Trauma Centre.

He assessed hospital services, infrastructure, maternal and child health indicators, and the progress of the state's Swasthya Club initiative. The minister also interacted with medical students on digital healthcare, ABHA ID, and healthy lifestyles.

Singhal directed officials to strengthen maternal and child healthcare, improve nutrition services, and make the Samaguri Trauma Centre fully operational at the earliest to ensure quality emergency healthcare for the public.-----------
