Prayagraj, 07 July (HS): Engineer Sunil Kushwaha, National President
of the Pragatisheel Samaj Party, has strongly objected to BJP MP Nishikant
Dubey's use of social media to name Samajwadi Party National President and
former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in the Ram Mandir donation theft case. He
stated that attempts to defame an opposition leader without any public evidence
are against democratic values. If Dubey has concrete evidence to support his
allegations, he should present it to the nation; otherwise, he should
immediately withdraw his tweet and publicly apologize.
He stated that such statements appear to be an attempt to
divert public attention from the core issue and the actual perpetrators of the
Ram Mandir donation case. The people of the country want facts, not political
accusations and counter-accusations. The government and investigative agencies
should conduct an impartial investigation and uncover the truth, rather than
create an atmosphere of confusion through baseless statements.
Engineer Kushwaha said that accepting Champat Rai's resignation from the post
of Executive General Secretary of the Ram Mandir Trust is not the solution to
this entire issue. If the SIT investigation establishes financial
irregularities, negligence, or accountability at any level, impartial legal
action should be taken against all responsible individuals. He demanded that
the SIT's investigation report be immediately made public so that millions of
devotees can know the truth. He said that it is the responsibility of the Modi
government, the Yogi government, and the Ram Mandir Trust to ensure complete
transparency in the entire matter. The people of the country must receive an
account of every penny of donations collected in the name of faith.
