New Delhi, 02 July (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday expressed profound grief over the fatal accident at a stone quarry in Karnataka's Bengaluru Urban district. He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the incident.

Notably, seven workers were killed and five others sustained serious injuries after a massive rock collapsed at the Kaveri Crusher stone quarry near Madappanahalli village in Bengaluru South Taluk on Thursday.

The injured have been admitted to RR Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
