Guwahati, 12 July (HS): Assam will launch a statewide narcotics destruction drive under which seized drugs worth ₹472.51 crore will be destroyed. The campaign is part of the state's ongoing crackdown against drug trafficking and abuse.

Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will participate in the destruction programme to be held at the premises of the 14th Assam Police Battalion in Nalbari, reaffirming the government's commitment to the Assam Against Drugs mission.---------
