Lucknow, 05 June (HS): On the occasion of World Environment
Day, the State Minister of Basic Education (Independent Charge), Sandeep Singh,
spreads the message of environmental protection by planting trees as in-charge minister Mathura district. On this occasion, he called on citizens to make tree
planting a mass movement and play an active role in the conservation of nature.
Minister Sandeep Singh said that in Indian culture, nature
is revered like a mother. Citing the Vedic mantra Mata Bhoomi: Putroham
Prithviya:, he said that the Earth is our mother and protecting it is the
moral responsibility of every citizen. He added that planting more trees is
essential to maintain environmental balance, address the challenges of climate
change, and provide a secure future for future generations.
Wishing the people of the state a Happy World Environment
Day, he urged them to join the Prime Minister's inspirational campaign,
One Tree for Mother. He urged everyone to plant at least one tree
in honor of their mother and pledge to protect it. This campaign is not only
conserving the environment but also strengthening emotional and social
consciousness.
Minister Singh said that tree planting should not be limited
to just planting trees, but that we all must also shoulder the responsibility
of protecting and nurturing them. He appealed to the public to be aware of
environmental protection, water conservation, and the sustainable use of
natural resources.
