Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and several central ministers and chief ministers from various states on Friday extended their best wishes to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath on his 54th birthday, wishing him good health, long life and continued public service. The leaders also praised the development, good governance and welfare initiatives carried out in Uttar Pradesh under his leadership.
Prime Minister Modi posted birthday greetings for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on the social media platform X, saying the chief minister’s contribution to accelerating Uttar Pradesh’s development and progress has been remarkable. Modi added that Yogi Adityanath has always prioritised improving citizens’ living standards and holistic development, and wished him a healthy, happy and long life.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also extended birthday wishes, praying for the chief minister’s good health and a prosperous life. He said Yogi Adityanath’s public life exemplifies dedication to society and national service.
Union Home and Co-operation Minister Amit Shah, offering his greetings, said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Uttar Pradesh’s double-engine government has set new standards in good governance and public welfare. He expressed confidence that the state would continue to achieve new heights in development under Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, and wished him good health and longevity.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh described Yogi Adityanath as a popular, hardworking and visionary chief minister, saying the state has achieved notable successes in law and order, governance, infrastructure development and public welfare under his stewardship. He prayed for continued energy, strength and success for the chief minister.
Union Minister Manohar Lal called Yogi Adityanath an energetic and popular leader and prayed to Lord Shri Ram for his good health, long life and well-being. He said the chief minister is leading the state to new dimensions of development.
Union Minister Giriraj Singh also extended birthday greetings, wishing Yogi Adityanath a bright future and new milestones in national service. He described the chief minister’s leadership as an inspiration for youth and society.
BJP senior leader Nitin Nabin conveyed wishes for the chief minister’s good health, long life and continued public service, saying Yogi Adityanath’s life symbolises dedication to the nation and society.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta described Yogi Adityanath as a successful chief minister, saying his visionary leadership and firm resolve have set new records in good governance, investment, infrastructure and public welfare in Uttar Pradesh. She wished him good health and a long life.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and West Bengal Chief Minister Shubhendu Adhikari also conveyed birthday greetings, each wishing Yogi Adityanath good health, longevity and continued success. Shubhendu Adhikari prayed to Lord Shri Ram and Lord Mahadev for the chief minister’s well-being and success.
Yogi Adityanath was born on 5 June 1972 in Pauri Garhwal district of present-day Uttarakhand. His birth name is Ajay Singh Bisht. A spiritual and social leader who entered politics, Yogi Adityanath represented Gorakhpur in Parliament for several terms before assuming the office of Uttar Pradesh chief minister on 19 March 2017. He was re-elected for a second consecutive term in 2022. As the 21st chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, he is widely known for his policies on development, investment promotion, infrastructure expansion and law-and-order initiatives.
