
Mission Director Pulkit Khare plants trees on World
Environment Day, administered oath to officers and employees for environmental
protection
Lucknow, 05 June (HS): World Environment Day: Tree planting
and environmental awareness program was organized at the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development
Mission (UPSDM) headquarters on Friday. Mission Director Pulkit Khare
inaugurated the program by planting a tree on the headquarters campus. He
described environmental protection as a social responsibility and emphasized
the importance of public participation in the conservation and promotion of
nature.
Mission Director Pulkit Khare stated that environmental
protection is not just a one-day issue, but a responsibility linked to the
secure future of future generations. He said that trees play a vital role in
maintaining the Earth's natural balance and that every individual should pledge
to plant and protect as many trees as possible in their lives. He added that
the concept of Green Office, Clean Office is not limited to the
office premises, but needs to be made a part of lifestyle.
Senior officials and staff of the department
enthusiastically participated in the program, planting various species of
plants on the campus. Special emphasis was placed on raising awareness about
environmental protection, cleanliness, and conservation of natural resources. Following the tree planting ceremony, the Mission Director
administered a collective oath to protect the environment to the officers and
employees present. Through this oath, everyone pledged to plant as many trees
as possible, ensure regular care of the planted trees, promote water
conservation, reduce plastic use, and keep their workplace and surrounding
environment clean and green.
