Actress Avantika Sundar, the elder daughter of veteran actress-politician Khushbu Sundar and filmmaker Sundar C, has tied the knot with Shravan Srinivasan in a lavish wedding ceremony held at a luxury resort in Goa.

The star-studded celebration brought together some of the biggest names from the South Indian film industry, along with celebrities from Bollywood and the political sphere. Telugu cinema legends Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Venkatesh Daggubati, Amala Akkineni and actress Trisha Krishnan were among the prominent guests who attended the wedding. Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor also joined the celebrations, adding to the glamour of the occasion.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay had been personally invited by Khushbu and Sundar C at his Chennai residence ahead of the wedding. However, he was unable to attend the ceremony, with his absence becoming a topic of discussion on social media.

Videos and photographs from the wedding have since gone viral online, particularly clips showing Trisha interacting with Chiranjeevi and his wife during the festivities. Fans also shared several pictures featuring leading stars from across the South Indian film fraternity, making the wedding one of the most talked-about celebrity events of the season.

Most of the guests embraced the traditional South Indian dress code, arriving in elegant mundus and veshtis, which added a cultural touch to the grand celebrations.

Ahead of the wedding, Khushbu and Sundar C had also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to personally invite him to the family function.

Khushbu and Sundar C, one of Tamil cinema's most popular celebrity couples, were married in 2000. Besides Avantika, the couple also have a younger daughter, Anandita. Avantika's wedding marks a new chapter for the family and has drawn widespread attention from fans and well-wishers across the country.
