Mumbai, 20 June (HS): Shiv Sena (UBT) has issued a new show
cause notice to its absentee MPs, threatening disqualification. Anil Desai, the
party's Chief Whip in the Lok Sabha, has issued a formal 'Show Cause' notice to
the missing MPs. They have been given a rigorous 24-hour deadline to submit a
written explanation for their actions. The message has a strong warning. If the
MPs do not answer within the timeframe specified, the party will believe they
have voluntarily resigned their membership. As a result, they will face legal
action under the Tenth Schedule of the Indian Constitution (the Anti-Defection
Act). Amid 'Operation Tiger,' a major defection of UBT politicians to the
Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena has pushed the party to the brink, resulting in
open animosity, missing MPs, and legal threats.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut sarcastically said
on Saturday that it should be considered a biological miracle that the birthday
of a four-year-old organization was celebrated as if it were 60 years old, a
day after Mumbai wtinessed both UBT Sena and Shinde's Sena in honor of the
party's 60th foundation day. Raut took a shot at Eknath Shinde, who celebrated
the Shiv Sena's 60th anniversary in Mumbai on Friday, saying that the genuine
Shiv Sena is still led by Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray, while the Shinde camp is
Amit Shah's test tube kid.
“I intended to send some DNA samples to biology academics
for examination. I am referring to the organization that was created four years
ago. You're referring to Amit Shah's 'test-tube baby.' So, how do you award a 60-year certificate to
a four-year-old 'test-tube baby'? During a Mumbai news conference, Raut spoke
in Marathi. What sort of biological marvel is this? Yesterday commemorated the
60th anniversary of the Shiv Sena of Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray,
led by Uddhav Thackeray. And four years ago, Amit Shah created a 'test-tube
baby'. This is another miracle; both of its parents are Amit Shah. He went on
to say that both the mother and father are Amit Shah.
Speaking about the likelihood of at least 6 UBT MPs switching to the Eknath
Shinde camp, commonly known as Operation Tiger, Raut stated that
they were purchased at an auction, and the real tigers remain on
Thackeray's side. Let me repeat: this is not 'Operation Tiger'. Shinde just
circumcised these 'foxes' that fled away from us. Tigers are here! The tiger
army has arrived; the tigers are right here! Six persons were ready to sell
themselves and were 'For Sale.' They came to the market, and because Shinde is
so wealthy, he purchased them, he stated.
Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav alleged that UBT Sena MPs
were outraged when Sanjay Raut called for regional parties to combine with the
Congress. Sanjay Raut, the spokesperson for the Uddhav Thackeray group, has
urged that all regional parties should join the national party. This
declaration enraged UBT MLAs, municipal councillors, and MPs, who dreaded being
hauled to Congress, according to Shiv Sena leader Jadhav. This was the founding
day of the Shiv Sena. What have we done in previous years, and what are we
going to do in the future? Previously, our leader, Balasaheb (Thackeray),
discussed this. Today, Eknath Shinde stated that Maharashtra must be developed.
He mentioned NDA and Mahayuti, he added. Maharashtra Minister Gulabrao Patil
accused Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray of embracing the Congress
philosophy.
