
New Delhi, 11 June (H.S.): President Droupadi Murmu will be on a two-day visit to Uttarakhand beginning June 12. During the visit, she will attend a function at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) as the Chief Guest on June 13 and will take the salute at the Passing Out Parade.
According to information released by the President’s Secretariat on Thursday, President Murmu will review the Passing Out Parade of the 158th Regular Course and the 141st Technical Graduate Course at the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun on June 13.
On the occasion, the President will inspect the parade of the future military officers and witness the achievements of the cadets who have successfully completed their training.
Notably, the Passing Out Parade at the Indian Military Academy marks a significant milestone in the careers of officer cadets, formally commissioning a new batch of officers into the Indian Army. The ceremony is regarded as one of the most prestigious military traditions in the country and symbolizes the successful completion of rigorous military training and leadership development.
