

New Delhi, 10 June (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will continue to work together with renewed enthusiasm to serve the nation and realize the vision of a Developed India (Viksit Bharat). The alliance completed 12 years in power at the Centre today.
To mark the completion of 12 years of the NDA government at the Centre, a meeting of leaders from NDA constituent parties across the country was held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On the occasion of Prime Minister Modi becoming the longest-serving democratically elected Prime Minister in India’s history, NDA leaders congratulated him during the gathering at Bharat Mandapam. Leaders of the alliance and Chief Ministers of NDA-ruled states also felicitated him with gifts and extended their congratulations.
Prime Minister Modi later shared photographs from the meeting on X and thanked NDA Chief Ministers and alliance leaders for their greetings and good wishes.
He said, “The NDA’s journey has been driven by a shared commitment to advancing national interests and fulfilling regional aspirations. This spirit has strengthened our democracy, deepened cooperative federalism, and accelerated development. Over the past 12 years, the NDA has provided a stable government that has driven progress across all sectors.”
The Prime Minister also shared photographs of himself enjoying jhalmuri during a break in the meeting. He wrote, “A jhalmuri snack during the NDA meeting at Bharat Mandapam. All our leaders thoroughly enjoyed it!”
A notable moment was when West Bengal Chief Minister Shubhendu Bhattacharya personally served jhalmuri to the Prime Minister.
