
Bhubaneswar, 18 May (H.S.): BJP National President Nitin Naveen attended the Odisha BJP State Core Committee meeting on Monday at the party's state headquarters in Bhubaneswar during his visit to the state. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and several senior party leaders were present.
Sources indicate that the meeting involved detailed discussions on organisational activities, Odisha's economic development, and various political and administrative issues. There was a strong emphasis on strengthening the party structure and reviewing ongoing organisational initiatives in the state.
Among those in attendance were Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Jual Oram, Odisha BJP President and MP Manmohan Samal, BJP Odisha in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar, co-in-charge Lata Usendi, Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, along with several senior leaders.
State Organisation General Secretary Manas Mohanty, MPs Pratap Sarangi and Sambit Patra, and others were also present.
Following the meeting, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed on social media that meaningful discussions took place with senior party leaders regarding organisational activities in the presence of BJP National President Nitin Naveen.
He further stated that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the double-engine government in Odisha is committed to ensuring holistic development, social security, and economic growth in the state. He added that the government is continuously working towards the welfare of every citizen and strengthening Odisha's identity on the global stage.
