April 8 (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya

addressed the inaugural ceremony of the International Conference on Food

Security at Amity University in Lucknow on Wednesday as the chief guest. On

this occasion, he honored eminent experts and scholars who have done

outstanding work in the fields of agriculture and technology. The Deputy Chief

Minister released a book on this occasion. Certificates were given to senior

citizens by the institute.

On

this occasion, Keshav Prasad said that under the able leadership of Prime

Minister Narendra Modi, India is moving rapidly on the path of agriculture,

innovation, and self-reliance. India's policies are shaping global food

security. Only through the confluence of innovation and the hard work of

farmers will the commitment to a developed India be realized. Under

the state's double-engine government, our traditional products and

agricultural diversification have gained a new dimension. Uttar Pradesh's local

products are establishing their unique identity on the global stage.

praised the conference organized by Amity University, saying that integrating

modern research and technology is the need of the hour to ensure safe and

accessible food supply. The Deputy Chief Minister said that in line with the

Prime Minister's vision, we are committed to making Uttar Pradesh a hub of

agriculture and food processing. During the event, the Deputy Chief Minister

interacted with delegates and agricultural scientists from various countries.

He expressed confidence that the conclusions drawn from this international

symposium will prove to be a milestone in solving not only the state's but also

global food challenges. Senior university officials, academicians, and a large

number of students were present on this occasion.
