Sonitpur (Assam), 17 April (HS): An Indian Army jawan lost his life in a tragic road accident at Ratnapur in Tezpur, triggering shock and grief in the area.

The official sources confirm on Friday that the deceased has been identified as Akash Limbu, a serving personnel of the Indian Army. According to sources, the accident was severe and the jawan killed on the spot due to the impact.

Local residents and police rushed to the scene soon after the incident. The body was later recovered and sent for necessary formalities.

Further details regarding the cause of the accident are yet to be ascertained, while police have initiated an investigation into the incident.---------
