



Dibrugarh (Assam), 01 April (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday morning visited the Manohari Tea Estate in Dibrugarh, where he participated in plucking tea leaves, highlighting the significance of Assam’s tea industry.
During his visit, the Prime Minister also interacted with tea garden workers, engaging in a brief exchange and acknowledging their contribution to the state’s economy. The interaction reflected the government’s continued focus on the welfare and empowerment of tea garden labourers in the region.
The Prime Minister enquired about the education of the workers’ children, their wages and whether they have Ayushman cards.
