Dibrugarh, 06 March (HS): Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday inaugurated a mandal-level office of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Dibrugarh, strengthening the party’s grassroots organisational network in the district.

The newly opened office is expected to function as a key centre for party activities, coordination and outreach programmes at the mandal level. Party leaders said the initiative would help improve communication with workers and ensure better implementation of organisational strategies.

Several senior BJP leaders, party workers and supporters were present on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of strengthening the party structure at the grassroots level to ensure effective public service and governance.

The inauguration forms part of the BJP’s broader effort to expand and reinforce its organisational base across Assam ahead of upcoming political activities and programmes in the state. Party leaders expressed confidence that the new office would play a vital role in mobilising workers and connecting with the people of the region.---------------
