Gorakhpur,
26 March (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with people and listened to
their problems during the Janta Darshan held at the Gorakhnath Temple in
Gorakhpur on Thursday morning. The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure
prompt resolution of all public problems. There should be no laxity in handling
complaints sensitively and ensuring their satisfactory resolution. The Chief
Minister reassured the people who had come for the Janta Darshan, saying,
Don't worry. The government will ensure effective action on all your
problems.
Chief
Minister Yogi met around two hundred people during the public darshan outside
Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan. The Chief Minister himself approached the
complainants sitting on chairs and listened to their problems in detail one by
one. He took their applications and gave the necessary instructions to the
officials present nearby for resolving the problems. To resolve the problems
related to different matters, he referred the applications to the concerned
administrative and police officers and directed that all problems should be
resolved in a timely, fair and satisfactory manner.
Responding
to complaints about crime and land grabbing, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
said that if a powerful person forcibly occupies someone's land, the strongest
possible action should be taken against them. Those who dispossess the poor
should not be spared. It should be ensured that the poor occupy their property.
Cases related to family disputes also came up during the Janta Darshan. The
Chief Minister directed that both parties first engage in dialogue and, if the
matter fails, appropriate legal action be taken.
As usual,
some people came to Janta Darshan seeking financial assistance for medical
treatment. The Chief Minister assured them that no one's treatment would be
stopped due to lack of funds. He directed officials to expedite the preparation
and provision of high-level treatment estimates for those in need. Upon
receiving the estimates, the government would immediately provide funds. Some women
had brought their children to Janta Darshan. The Chief Minister pampered these
children and blessed them with chocolates.
The Chief
Minister fondled the cows and fed them jaggery: During his stay at the
Gorakhnath temple, the daily routine of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remained
traditional. In the morning, he visited and worshipped Shiva avatar Guru
Gorakhnath at the Gorakhnath temple and bowed his head at the samadhi place of
his guru, late Mahant Avedyanath. Whenever Chief Minister Yogi is at the Gorakhnath
temple, cow service is an integral part of his daily routine. On Thursday
morning, while visiting the temple premises, he reached the cowshed of the
temple and spent some time there. In the cowshed, Chief Minister Yogi fondled
the cows on their foreheads. He fondled them a lot and fed them jaggery.
