Gossaigaon (Assam), 26 March (HS): A tragic road accident occurred at Kachugaon in Gossaigaon when a vehicle returning after attending a post-wedding ritual met with a severe collision last night.

According to reports, the vehicle carrying passengers who were returning after the ‘Aath Mongola’ ceremony of a marriage crashed into a truck. One person killed on the spot in the impact, while several others sustained injuries.

The injured were rushed to nearby medical facilities for treatment. Further details regarding the identities of the victims and the condition of the injured are awaited.

Police have reached the spot and initiated an investigation into the incident.-----------
