Guwahati, 26 March (HS): The administration has clarified that there is adequate stock of petrol and diesel in the Kamrup Metropolitan District, dismissing any concerns of a fuel shortage at present.

According to a public notice issued based on field reports last night, both petrol and diesel are sufficiently available across the district, and there is no indication of any impending shortage. Authorities emphasized that the current supply situation is stable.

In view of this, the public has been urged not to indulge in panic buying of fuel. The administration further stated that any grievances related to the availability of petrol and diesel can be reported through the helpline number 1077.-----------
