Barpeta (Assam), 24 March (HS): Assam BJP leader, Minister and election candidate Ranjit Kumar Das on Tuesday claimed that the Bhabanipur -Sarbhog assembly constituency has effectively become a “fixed deposit” for the party following the Chief Minister’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra in the region.

Addressing the media, Das asserted that the overwhelming public response to the yatra reflects strong support for the BJP and its alliance partners. He expressed confidence that the party is set to secure a decisive victory in both constituencies.

Das further stated that today’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra would emerge as the most successful such outreach programme in Assam, citing massive participation and enthusiasm among the people.

He added that the response seen during the yatra indicates a clear mandate in favour of development and continuity under the present government.----------
