Lucknow,

22 March (HS): On the fourth day of Navratri, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath worshiped Goddess Kushmanda, the fourth form of Adishakti, and

prayed for the happiness, prosperity, and health of all state residents. He

defined Goddess Kushmanda as a symbol of strength and vitality. Goddess

Kushmanda, known as 'Adi Shakti', is worshipped on the fourth day of Navratri.

She is said to have created the cosmos with her smile.

CM Yogi

prostrated at Maa Kushmanda's feet, praying for vitality and success in

devotees' life. Worshiping the Goddess Kushmanda alleviates disease and

suffering while increasing lifespan, renown, and power. Wearing yellow and

presenting Malpua (sweet rice) is considered lucky on this day. Through social

media, the Chief Minister prayed for the well-being of the entire cosmos with

Mother Kushmanda's blessings.

In a

post on X, he mentioned, “Surasampurnakalash Rudhiraplutmev Ch. Dadhana

Hastapadmabhyan Kushmanda Shubhadaastu. May the lives of all the devotees be

illuminated with happiness, prosperity and health with the blessings of Maa

Kushmanda, the fourth form of Jagajjanani Jagadamba, the symbol of power and

perfection. May the entire creation be blessed, this is my prayer. Jai Maa Kushmanda!”
