
New Delhi, 04 February (H.S.): India's premier iron ore producer, NMDC Limited, achieved unprecedented milestones in FY 2025-26's first nine months, with January production hitting 5.56 million tonnes (up 9% YoY) and sales at 4.79 million tonnes (up 7% YoY), culminating in cumulative output of 42.65 million tonnes—a 19% surge—and sales of 39.73 million tonnes, up 9.7% year-on-year.
The Steel Ministry highlighted stellar financials: revenue climbed 22% to ₹20,381 crore, PBT rose 5% to ₹7,280 crore, PAT increased 4% to ₹5,401 crore, and EBITDA grew 5% to ₹7,666 crore, underpinned by operational excellence and record volumes since inception.
NMDC declared a ₹2.50/share interim dividend, fortifying its status as India's mining powerhouse while inaugurating Jharkhand's Tokisud North coal block—its first—propelling annual targets amid sustained momentum.
