Mumbai, 04 Feb (HS): An engineering student of Bombay

IIT committed suicide by jumping from his hostel terrace on Wednesday early

morning.

Powai Police informed that a second year Civil Engineering

Student, Naman Agrawal (21) jumped from the terrace of hostel building. He was

rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctor declared his dead.

Naman was a native of Pilani in Rajasthan. Powai

Police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating. Any suicide note was not recovered from him or

his room.
