Bhubaneswar, 24 February (H.S.): The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, has announced that the evaluation of Class X examination answer sheets will commence on March 19 and is expected to conclude by April 2.
The valuation process will be conducted across 50 centres in 30 districts, with 47 centres dedicated to matric answer sheets, two for the State Open School Certificate (SOSC), and one for Sanskrit Madhyama.
To ensure transparency, the board has discreetly assigned teams to transport answer sheets from nodal centres to the evaluation centres. The entire process is being carried out under strict confidentiality to maintain fairness.
According to board directives, examiners and teachers involved in the evaluation are required to report to their respective centres from March 18. Each teacher is expected to evaluate 25–30 answer sheets per day. In total, over 12,000 teachers have been appointed for this exercise.
District Education Officers have been instructed to appoint four data entry operators at each evaluation centre. Additionally, a chief examiner, two deputy chief examiners, and two scrutinizers have been designated to supervise the evaluation process.
