Quetta (Balochistan), 01 February (H.S.): The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has released Nushki's District Commissioner Mahmud Hussain Hazara and his wife. BLA announced this development through a video statement. The release occurred during Pakistan Army's ongoing campaign against insurgents in Balochistan.

According to The Balochistan Post report, Baloch Liberation Army issued a video on its official channel Hakl. The footage depicts Nushki District Commissioner and his wife being handed over to armed individuals.

In the video, District Commissioner Mahmud Hussain Hazara appears stating that they are currently in Baloch Liberation Army custody. BLA affirmed it has freed the District Commissioner and his wife.
