Bhubaneswar, 22 October (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi arrived in Mumbai late on Wednesday evening to participate in India Chem 2026 and engage with leading industry representatives to explore new investment opportunities in the state’s chemical and petrochemical sectors.

In a social media post, Majhi said Odisha was poised to expand its chemical and petrochemical ecosystem, leveraging its rich natural resources, progressive industrial policies and growing infrastructure.

He emphasised that the state aims to strengthen downstream manufacturing, promote value addition and create new employment opportunities through investments in these sectors.

The Chief Minister expressed optimism about forging meaningful partnerships with industry leaders that would translate investment potential into projects on the ground and accelerate Odisha’s progress towards building a “Samruddha Odisha”.
