Train traffic between Mumbai-Bhusawal likely to affect between Oct 7 and 18
Jalgaon, October 2 (Hrs). The Central Railway has announced a 12-day special traffic and power block at Kasara from October 7 to 18 for the expansion of the Upyard line at Kasara station along with the work on the Asangao

Jalgaon, October 2 (Hrs). The Central Railway has

announced a 12-day special traffic and power block at Kasara from October 7 to

18 for the expansion of the Upyard line at Kasara station along with the work

on the Asangaon-Kasara third railway line. The block will affect the schedule

of mail-express trains running on the Bhusawal section towards Mumbai as well

as from Mumbai via Bhusawal.

The commuters travelling to and from Mumbai are

likely to face inconvenience. The block will take place on October 7 and 8 from

3.35 pm to 8.35 pm, and on October 9 from midnight 12.30 am to 5.30 am. The

suburban train service between Asangaon-Kasara will not be available during

this period.

Some trains will run behind the schedule from 30

minutes to 1.25 hours during the block period. On 7th October, 12172

Haridwar-LTT AC Express and 12108 Sitapur-LTT Superfast Express will be delayed

by 15 hours in Bhusawal section.

The block will also affect 12860 Howrah-CSMT

Gitanjali Express and 17618 Nanded-CSMT Tapovan Express on October 7 and 8.

On 9 October, 18030 Shalimar-LTT Express, 12810

Howrah-CSMT Mail and 12132 Sainagar Shirdi-Dadar Express will be regulated on

the Bhusawal section.

On 7th October, Kamayani Express, Amritsar-CSMT

Express, Kushinagar Express, Jaynagar-LTT Express, Panvel-Gorakhpur Express,

LTT-Sitapur Express, LTT-Gorakhpur Express and LTT-Dhanbad Express are likely

to be delayed due to traffic control.

LTT-Gorakhpur, LTT-Rani Kamalapati and LTT-Chhapra

Antyodaya Express are likely to be affected on October 8.

Also, CSMT-Nagpur Sevagram, CSMT-Balharshah

Nandigram and CSMT-Howrah Duronto Express may be delayed on 7th and 8th

October.

On October 8 and 9, the schedule of Gorakhpur-LTT

Superfast, Balharshah-CSMT Nandigram, Pratapgarh-LTT Udyog Nagar, Gaya-LTT

Superfast and Amravati-CSMT Express will also be affected.

Passengers travelling to or from Mumbai via Bhusawal

during this period are requested to check the updated train schedule and plan

their journey accordingly, as the block is likely to lead to a change in

timings of train services.
