Lucknow, 18 Oct (HS): On Durga Ashtami, during Sharadiya

Navratri, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed sincere wishes

to devotees, emphasizing the profound spiritual significance of the day. CM

Yogi highlighted that women's dignity, safety, health, and self-reliance are

critical to society growth. He participated in traditional Navratri ceremonies

and prayed to Maa Mahagauri. On the eighth day of Sharad Navratri (Maha

Ashtami), he offered prayers to Maa Mahagauri and greeted the state's citizens.

CM Yogi worshiped the eighth form of Goddess Durga, Maa Mahagauri, and prayed

for the health, prosperity, and well-being of all residents.

In a post on X, he mentioned, “Seated upon a white bull,

adorned in white garments, pure and immaculate, Mahagauri bestows

auspiciousness, delighting the great Lord Shiva. Through the worship of Mother Mahagauri, the

eighth form of the primordial energy Mother Durga, purity, self-discipline, and

strength flow into the devotee's life. From

the Mother, Creator of the Universe, we pray that joy and peace reside in the

lives of all devotees, their heartfelt wishes be fulfilled, and their homes and

courtyards be illuminated with new hope and vibrant energy. Jai Ma Mahagauri.”
