Guwahati, 11 October (HS): Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary in Assam will reopen to tourists on October 13, with the authorities completing preparations to welcome visitors for the new tourist season.

The sanctuary management has made arrangements to ensure a convenient and enjoyable experience for visitors. A total of 30 jeeps will be available for jungle safaris, allowing tourists to explore the sanctuary and observe its rich wildlife.

Located in Assam’s Morigaon district, Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is renowned for its significant population of the endangered one-horned rhinoceros. The sanctuary attracts wildlife enthusiasts, nature lovers and tourists from different parts of the country and abroad.

With the reopening scheduled for October 13, the authorities have geared up to facilitate tourist activities and provide safari services. The availability of 30 safari jeeps is expected to help accommodate visitors during the upcoming tourist season.-----------
