was hanged alongside Bismil, Ashfaqulla Khan, and Lahiri in 1927 for
revolutionary actions against British authority, and he is renowned for his
patriotism, wrestling talents, and sacrifice for India's independence. A
respected martyr whose life exemplifies sacrifice and patriotism, motivating
thousands to strive for India's independence.
In
his post on X, he mentioned, “Thakur Roshan Singh, an immortal warrior of the
freedom struggle, shook the foundations of British rule through the Kakori
Train Action, awakening the spirit of nation first in the hearts of
revolutionaries. Such a great national leader will always remain alive in our
hearts. Today, on his birth anniversary, we pay our humble tribute to him.”
