20 Jan (HS): The discovery of a decapitated body of a young man on the railway
tracks near the Attari culvert in the rural police station area of Mirzapur,
Uttar Pradesh, on Monday evening caused a sensation. The deceased youth's
father has accused four people of murdering his son, Dilip Kumar Yadav, and
throwing his body on the tracks. Meanwhile, Dilip has been accused of making a
pornographic video of a young woman viral. Police have detained four people and
are interrogating them.
Rural
police station in-charge Amit Mishra said that in the evening, the headless
body of a young man was found on the railway track near Atari culvert. Police
arrived on the information of a railway memo and took the body into custody. A
mobile phone was found with the deceased youth. The number found on the mobile
phone was informed to his family. Buddhiram Yadav, a resident of Badi Basahi
Mohalla in Katra police station area, who reached the spot after receiving the
information, identified the body as that of his 24-year-old son, Dilip Kumar
Yadav. Buddhiram said that his son used to drive a vehicle and was not married.
Dilip
had left home in the morning. The father alleged that his son did not commit
suicide; he was murdered and his body was thrown on the tracks. The day before
the incident, a woman, two young women, and a man came to the house in the
afternoon. They were asking about Dilip and his whereabouts. This led to a
commotion. The police were informed and are investigating the matter.
