18 Jan (HS): On Sunday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath sent
greetings on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya, hoping for fresh energy,
excitement, and resolution. In a post on X, the Chief Minister welcomed
devotees who had arrived at Sangam for the holy plunge.
On
the auspicious occasion of the great festival of faith, Mauni Amavasya, he
extended a sincere greeting to all the respected Akharas, Dharmacharyas,
saints, sadhaks, kalpavasis, and devotees who had visited the holy Sangam for
the sacred bath, according to the post.
Furthermore,
the Chief Minister wished everyone positivity and drive. He prayed to Mother
Ganga and Lord Surya for the fulfillment of everyone's aspirations, as well as
the awakening of new energy, excitement, and commitment in life.
In
a post on X, he mentioned, “Hearty congratulations to all devotees and
residents of the state on Mauni Amavasya, the great festival of faith that
inspires charity, fasting, and sacrifice. May everyone's wishes be fulfilled
with the blessings of Mother Ganga, the giver of salvation, and the Sun God.
May life be filled with new energy, new enthusiasm, and new zeal, this is my
wish. Har Har Ganga!”
In
another post on X, he added, “On the auspicious occasion of Mauni Amavasya, the
great festival of faith, heartfelt greetings to all the revered Akharas,
religious leaders, saints, seekers, Kalpavasis and devotees who have come to
bathe in the sacred Sangam. May everyone's wishes be fulfilled by the grace of
Mother Ganga, the giver of salvation, and Lord Surya; may new energy, new
enthusiasm and new resolve awaken in life, this is my prayer. Har Har Ganga!”
