Bhubaneswar, 31 July (H.S.): Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan paid heartfelt tribute to legendary Hindi writer Munshi Premchand on his birth anniversary, calling him an unparalleled treasure of Hindi literature.
In his message, the Minister stated that Premchand’s works are not only a source of pride for Hindi literature but also give voice to the struggles, pain, and aspirations of the marginalized sections of society. Classics such as Godaan, Rangbhoomi, and Nirmala continue to leave a deep imprint on readers’ hearts, he noted.
Highlighting Premchand’s contribution to social awareness, Pradhan emphasized that the writer used his pen as a tool for awakening the masses by shedding light on social inequalities. “His literary legacy will continue to influence our society and culture for generations to come,” he added.
