Dhubri (Assam), 30 July (HS): Acting on a tip-off, Gauripur police in Assam's Dhubri district recovered a stolen motorcycle and arrested two individuals in connection with the theft. A case regarding the theft of a Hero Super Splendor (AS 16 F 1232) had already been registered at the Gauripur police station.

During the investigation, police apprehended Karim Sheikh (34) from Bagulamari and Saddam Hussain from Jaharmuda. In a separate operation, Gauripur police also seized three motorcycles lacking valid documents.

Police informed on Wednesday that legal proceedings have been initiated against the arrested individuals.
