13 July (HS): The re-birth anniversary of Uttar Pradesh Government's Industrial

Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, the strong voice of entrepreneurs,

traders and people of the Vaishya community, was celebrated as Vyapari Sahas

Diwas on Saturday with great enthusiasm not only in Prayagraj but also in every

district from east to west and from Awadh to Bundelkhand region. In each

district, traders, entrepreneurs and people of the Vaishya community prayed for

minister Nandi's long life by performing Rudrabhishek, Jalabhishek, worship and

Bhandara in ancient temples, shrines and Shivalayas. At the same time, people

presented a strong example of social unity and service pledges by serving the

poor, the helpless as well as the weak sections of the society.

In

Shamli district, traders and entrepreneurs of Municipal Council Shamli

organized a health camp on the occasion of re-birth anniversary of Minister

Nandi. In which a large number of people were given health checkup and

medicines. In Gorakhpur, the city of Baba Gorakhnath, traders and supporters

performed Rudrabhishek of Lord Bholenath in Shiva temples.

In

Pilibhit district, the officials of the Vaishya community, under the leadership

of patron Anoop Agarwal, served the elderly in the old age home by providing

them food prasad. In Tamkuhi Raj of Kushinagar district, the people of the

Vaishya community performed Rudrabhishek and distributed food prasad.

Rudrabhishek

puja was performed at Dayalnagar Shri Ram temple in Moradabad district and food

was distributed in slums. At Shri Ram Janaki temple in Gonda district, traders

performed havan-puja and distributed prasad and prayed for the long life of

minister Nandi.

Rudrabhishek

pujan and prasad distribution was also done in Rampur. A massive health camp

was organised by the doctors of Medanta Hospital in Shamli district under the

leadership of Dr Rajendra Goyal. A large number of people were examined and

medicines were given in this camp.

Under

the leadership of Prakash Kesarwani, traders performed havan-puja, Rudrabhishek

and distributed prasad at the ancient Shiva temple located in the Karvi tehsil

of Chitrakoot district. Members of Hathras Vyapar Mandal also performed puja at

the Shiva temple. Under the leadership of Ramsevak Sahu, Rudrabhishek pujan and

prasad distribution took place on the occasion of re-birth anniversary at the

Shiva temple located in Rajiv Nagar of Maharajganj district. In Shravasti

district, Rudrabhishek pujan and bhandaar were organized under the leadership

of Vaishya community's district in-charge Dinanath Gupta and district president

Harimohan Gupta. Traders of Sitapur district did service by organizing

Rudrabhishek pujan and bhandaar under the leadership of president Pankaj Gupta.

Rudrabhishek

Pujan and Bhandara were organized in Siddheshwar temple of Jhansi district in

the presence of BJP officials, traders and people of Vaishya community.

Rudrabhishek and Aarti Pujan of Lord Bholenath were performed in Riyasat Mandir

Mohalla Kot of Amroha district. Rudrabhishek Pujan, Kirtan and Prasad

distribution were organized in the historic Shiv temple located in Golghat of

Ghazipur district, Malihabad of Lucknow, Radha Krishna temple located in

Vijaynagar Colony of Agra district. Rudrabhishek Pujan was performed in Balaji

Dham temple located in Deoband under the leadership of District President Manoj

Geda in Jalaun district. Rudrabhishek Pujan and a huge Bhandara were organized

in the famous Pura Mahadev temple of Baghpat district. State Minister Yashveer

Chaudhary also participated in it along with supporters and officials.

Meanwhile,

Indradev became kind, as if on Mahadev's orders he held the clouds with his

hands. The divine tradition of heavy rain stopping and successful completion of

the program during the revived birth celebration was not broken. Such

unwavering trust of faith that has now become a challenge for science. There is

a popular Hindi hymn that says God is in the control of his

devotees! Prayagraj has been witnessing the realization of this proverb

and the miracle of Mahadev for the last one and a half decade. A spiritual

belief that has become a universal truth, a tradition that is unbroken, a truth

that is steadfast and unshakable.

Pradesh Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi was attacked by a horrific RDX

remote bomb on 12 July 2010. This attack happened when he was going to the

ancient Manokamnapurti Shiv Mandir in Bahadurganj for Jalabhishek. A journalist

and a civil gunner died on the spot in that horrific and deadly explosion.

Minister Nandi was the most seriously injured. After a long struggle with death

by staying in coma for 7 days, his life was finally saved in an unbelievable

and miraculous way.

This

was considered to be a rebirth received by the grace and blessings of Mahadev

himself. Since then, his supporters and admirers celebrate the recovered birth

anniversary of Minister Nandi on 12 July. The main event takes place at the

Manokamnapoorti Shiv Mandir in Bahadurganj. Every year, lakhs of people visit

Mahadev here and wish Minister Nandi and take food Prasad. This event takes

place in the month of Saavan when the monsoon is at its peak. There is a

possibility of torrential rain and intermittent rain. But Minister Nandi has

unwavering faith in Bholenath that everything will be fine.

A

day before, they offer the invitation card of the event on the proven and

ancient Shivalinga of Mahadev and pray - O my Mahadev, now everything is

in your hands! Every time Mahadev not only listens to this pathetic cry

of his devoted devotee but also performs such a miracle which is a direct

challenge to science, a subject of research and study. This time too, there

were several showers of rain from the night of 11th July to 12 am on 12th July.

The thundering of the clouds and the lightning had caused many apprehensions

among the workers and the administration. But Minister Nandi reached the temple

from his home for Rudrabhishek Pujan completely carefree and immersed in

devotion. When he came out of the temple after the Mahapuja, it felt as if

someone had stopped the rain with both hands, held the clouds. Not a single

drop of water fell till late night, lakhs of people consumed food prasad

without any hindrance. The streets of Bahadurganj became witness to the Kumbh

of humans who had gathered to congratulate their beloved son and favorite

leader. Meanwhile, people were heard saying to each other - God is in the

control of the devotee!
