Kushinagar,
13 July (HS): Four people died and two were injured in a collision between a
car and a tractor-trolley on a four-lane road near Baghikuti in Patharewa area
of Kushinagar district on Sunday morning. The car occupants were going from
Jharkhand to Siddharthnagar. The deceased have been identified as Manoj Sharma,
Sujit Jaiswal, Ramkaran Gupta and Kailash Mani Tripathi of Siddharthnagar
district.
Survivors Rajesh Sharma son of Krishna Sharma (driver) and Sushant
Sharma son of Dhirendra Sharma resident of Deendayal Nagar Siddharthnagar
district said that all the people had left from Devghar in Jharkhand at 10 pm
last night after visiting Vaidyanath Dham. Due to continuous driving, they
dozed off in the morning and the car collided with a tractor trolley.
In a
press release issued from the Superintendent of Police office, it has been told
that four people in the car died in the accident and two people were injured.
The injured are being given proper treatment. All the deceased are residents of
Siddharthnagar. Further necessary action is underway. Peace and order is
maintained at the spot.
