Sonitpur (Assam), 3 June (HS): Flood has again wreaked havoc in the sixth area added to Kaziranga National Park. 40% of the sixth addition area of Kaziranga National Park located in the south of Jamugurihat on the northern bank of Brahmaputra river has submerged in flood water.

The sixth area added to the national park has been submerged due to the floods of the mighty Brahmaputra and Ghiladhari rivers. On the other hand, the forest workers are keeping a close watch on the wildlife living in the sixth area added to the park during the floods so that the wildlife does not suffer any kind of damage.
