Maldah, 2 June (H.S.): The dead body of a missing youth from Maldah district was recovered from Tapan police station area of South Dinajpur district on Monday. The body was buried in the house after the murder. Even the place was plastered.

Saddam Nadab, a resident of Koklamari Nadab Pada under Pukhuria police station of Maldah, was missing since May 18. The youth was a contractor by profession. Saddam's family had reported his disappearance to the Englishbazar police station. After investigation, the officials of Englishbazar police station could not find any trace of the youth. Finally, the police arrested his aunt Moumita Nadab, in whose relative's house he lived on rent.

Initially Moumita confused the police, but in the police interrogation she broke down and nd she confessed that Saddam was murdered. Based on that information, the police of Englishbazar police station of Maldah recovered the body on Monday morning with the help of Tapan police station. Moumita Nadab has already been arrested. The police suspect that the murder was committed due to a dispute over money transactions. The police are investigating who else is involved in this incident.
