Bhubaneswar, 9 May (H.S.): Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan paid a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Rajput warrior Maharana Pratap on his birth anniversary through a post on social media. Honouring the valour and unwavering commitment of the Mewar king, Pradhan hailed him as a symbol of courage, pride, and duty towards the motherland.
In his message, the minister described Maharana Pratap not just as a warrior, but as a living embodiment of India's soul and a shining symbol of the values that safeguard religion and freedom. He emphasized that Maharana Pratap taught the nation that the independence of the motherland is non-negotiable and must be protected through sacrifice, perseverance, and inner strength.
Pradhan noted that Maharana Pratap's inspiring legacy and tales of bravery will continue to motivate generations across India. Concluding his message, he paid his deepest respects, calling the Mewar ruler the “Crown of Mewar” and offering a reverent shat-shat naman (heartfelt salutations) on his jayanti.
