Delhi, 3 May (H.S.): Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Constable Munir Ahmed has been dismissed for failing to disclose his marriage to a Pakistani citizen and for harboring her beyond her visa limit. His marriage to Meenal Khan, conducted online last May, violated service conduct and posed risks to national security.

Minal, who entered India on a short-term visa that expired on March 22, applied for a long-term visa. Following a terrorist incident in Pahalgam, her visa was canceled, requiring her to leave by April 29, though the Jammu and Kashmir High Court allowed her temporary return. A preliminary investigation led to Munir's immediate dismissal.
