- Instructions Issued to Assess Damage to Banana Crop in Burhanpur District Financial Assistance Will Be Provided to Farmers

Bhopal, 29 May (H.S.) : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has assured that the state government stands firmly with the farmers affected by recent storms and heavy rainfall in various villages of Burhanpur district, which caused significant damage to banana crops. He urged farmers not to worry, as the government is committed to supporting them during this time.

The Chief Minister, taking prompt action, has directed the district administration to conduct an immediate survey in the affected villages to assess the damage to banana crops. Burhanpur is a key district in Madhya Pradesh for banana cultivation. Based on the survey report, compensation will be provided to the affected farmers. The Chief Minister reaffirmed that the state government always stands by its food providers in times of natural calamity.
