Bhubaneswar, 23 May (H.S.): On the occasion of World Turtle Day, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed pride in the state’s longstanding role as a sanctuary for the endangered Olive Ridley turtles. Taking to social media, the Chief Minister highlighted Odisha’s dedication to marine conservation and called for continued harmony between humanity and nature.

Odisha takes pride in being a safe haven for thousands of Olive Ridley turtles every year, CM Majhi wrote. On World Turtle Day, we reaffirm our dedication to preserving marine life and nurturing harmony between nature and humanity.
